Green
Here are the green things people have chosen to record. Sorry they're going up a week later than advertised. I am also putting the 'Concrete' challenge back by a week as a result. The latest schedule, then, is as follows:
8 September - Concrete
26 September - Work
As usual, the challenges can be interpreted in absolutely any way you see fit. I hope you like that new one.
I know at least five Campus Look people have entered the staff photo competition since last time - good work everyone! I hope there will be a winner amongst us. The deadline for that was actually extended to Friday 24 August, so if you missed it and are really disappointed, you could always try and squeeze an entry through over the long weekend. Who knows? You might get away with it.
I have also noticed that the Campus Tour section of leeds.ac.uk has been updated recently. It is still linked in the sidebar here, and has some very nice pictures of the campus if you dig through it. There really is so much to photograph here, and so many ways to show it. How many pictures of the Parkinson Building must there be on departments' websites? And it looks so different in some of them!
There were 20 votes for the best Extra last time around, so thanks. I have not posted the exact results, so I can only hope that you won't be suspicious that my own picture is the current favourite. Please continue to use the voting widget in the sidebar to choose what you think is the best bit of green below.
Great pictures this time, I think. Click them to see them properly and remember to press F11 in Internet Explorer to fill the screen. Enjoy!
